Graphic Pulse — The Third Wave Music Show Opener

Role
Motion Designer / Broadcast Graphic Designer — concept, art direction, graphic design, animation, and compositing.

Project goal
Create a music-show opener with personality without falling back on the usual visual clichés of speakers, equalizers, or concert footage. The identity for “The Third Wave” was built instead around a compact emblem and a deliberately tactile graphic world — closer to a printed poster, stencil, or handmade zine than to glossy television graphics.

Creative and technical approach
The central “3” becomes the anchor of the sequence. Rough edges, torn-paper fragments, arrows, black marks, and warm off-white surfaces create a visual language that feels physical and slightly imperfect. Motion preserves that handmade quality: elements snap, tear, slide, and assemble rather than moving with polished mechanical precision.
This contrast was important. The structure remains clear enough for broadcast, but the surface treatment gives the programme its own attitude and prevents the identity from feeling generic. Typography and symbol work together as one compact mark that can return throughout the package.

Result
A music-show opener with a recognisable graphic voice — raw, direct, and memorable, using a small set of elements to create a strong personality before the programme even begins.
