Suspilne Channel Rebranding – Part I

Role
Motion Designer / Broadcast Graphic Designer — brand adaptation, on-air motion system, animation and compositing.

Project goal
Part I of the Suspilne channel rebranding develops the broadcaster’s visual identity into a flexible on-air motion system. Circular forms, strong colour fields and restrained typography become repeatable building blocks for transitions, idents and graphic moments across different programmes. The objective was to create a visual language that reads immediately on television, has a clear personality and can be repeated across episodes without becoming visually monotonous.

Creative and technical approach
The goal was consistency without rigidity. The same core geometry can expand, crop, rotate or reveal footage, allowing the identity to remain recognisable while adapting to different editorial contexts. The work focuses on motion-language development rather than claiming authorship of the underlying corporate identity.

The sequence was treated as a modular on-air system rather than a one-off animation. Timing, transitions, typography and graphic elements were designed to remain recognisable across recurring programme situations, promos and different content lengths.

Result
A flexible first layer of the Suspilne rebranding system, designed to make the refreshed identity feel alive in broadcast rather than remain a static brand manual. The result establishes a repeatable motion vocabulary that can support many programme and continuity situations.
